History
Geography
Europe makes up the western fifth of the Eurasian landmass. It has a higher ratio of coast to landmass than any other continent or subcontinent. Its maritime borders consist of the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Mediterranean, Black and Caspian Seas to the south. Land relief in Europe shows great variation within relatively small areas. The southern regions are more mountainous, while moving north the terrain descends from the high Alps, Pyrenees and Carpathians, through hilly uplands, into broad, low northern plains, which are vast in the east. This extended lowland is known as the Great European Plain and at its heart lies the North German Plain. An arc of uplands also exists along the north-western seaboard, which begins in the western parts of the islands of Britain and Ireland, and then continues along the mountainous, fjord-cut spine of Norway.
This description is simplified. Subregions such as the Iberian Peninsula and the Italian Peninsula contain their own complex features, as does mainland Central Europe itself, where the relief contains many plateaus, river valleys and basins that complicate the general trend. Sub-regions like Iceland, Britain and Ireland are special cases. The former is a land unto itself in the northern ocean that is counted as part of Europe, while the latter are upland areas that were once joined to the mainland until rising sea levels cut them off.

Government and politics
Europe a Nation is unitary, semi-presidential republic, where in the president is the head of state and the prime minister is the head of government. It's fundamentally structured as a multi-party representative democracy, with the national government composed of three branches:
- Legislative: The bicameral European parliament made of the 500-member National Assembly and 100-member Senate, adopts national law, declares war, approves treaties, has the power to purse and the power of impeachment of the president
- Executive: The president is the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, and appoints the Government of Europe a Nation (Cabinet) and other officers, who administer and enforce national and policies. The president may issue decrees of unlimited scope, so long as they do not contradict the constitution or federal law.
- Judiciary: The Constitutional Court, Supreme Court and lower regional courts, whose judges are appointed by the Executive Committee on the recommendation of the president, interpret laws and can overturn laws they deem unconstitutional.
The president is elected by popular vote for a 6-year term and may be reelected once. Ministries of the government are composed of the prime minister and his deputy, ministers, and selected other individuals; all are appointed by the president on the recommendation of the prime minister (the appointment of the latter does not require the consent of the National Assembly). National Party of Europe is the dominant political party in Europe a Nation, and has been described as "big tent". Under the administrations of Oswald Mosley, Europe a Nation has experienced democratic backsliding and increasing corporate influence over the government and has become a corporate authoritarian state.

Economy
The economy of Europe a Nation is based on a mix of capitalism and corporatism, with the corporate clique known as Leviathan playing a significant role. Leviathan is a powerful economic force that is not officially recognised by the government, but it has a strong influence on government policies. The government cooperates with Leviathan, but it also regulates it to protect citizens from corporate exploitation.
