The Kalisight Treaty Organization (KTO) is an intergovernmental organization and military alliance formed as a result of a Non-Aggression Pact between Galapagos and Janpia. The name was created as an amalgamation of the capitals of Janpia and Galapagos, Kalingrad and New Oversight, respectively. The alliance prides itself on being a beacon of democracy, peace, and cooperation, regardless of ideology and creed. Its headquarters is located in Kalingrad City, Janpia.

KTO Boardroom
The Boardroom is the legislative body of the KTO and is the main decision making body for the alliance. It is made up of one representative from each of the member nations. Member states may put forth a Resolution, and a debate and vote shall happen. After a set amount of days, the vote will end and the Resolution shall be considered as passed or failed.
In the Boardroom, up to 5 KTO members have veto powers at any one time. The veto members are nominated and voted on by the other members of the KTO, and have veto powers from a limited period of time. These members can veto legislation, however, they have no power over military decisions.

Criticism
The Global Confederation of Nations (GCN) opposed the creation of the KTO from the start. They saw the KTO as a threat to their authority from the beginning as the GCN wants to unite all nations and alliances under their banner, but the KTO founding nations refused to join. This led to a semi-cold war that only lasted a short amount of time. In a recent conference, some GCN members expressed interest to make peace with the KTO. Also in this conference, the some of the members stated that KTO is an undemocratic organization, which is in start contrast to the types of nations that are member states and the mission statement of the KTO.
