This caused the party having an internal conflict between the two sides, with Selim and Kadri together on one end and Yavuzsoy Aktas and Ufuk Sarigül on the other. Kadri begin to threaten members and representative of the parliament during that time that they will lose their membership if they were to side with the conservatives, which backfired as half of the current members and party representative in the parliament had stated their support for Yavuzsoy ideas, with one of them stating that "Kadri has a fragile ego.". By that point, Baris Yurgäl, Mehmet Basravköv Adgīl and Muhammed Abdullah Adgär Safüryalidov were sacked by Selim, with the murder of Baris, his brother, Emin Yurgäl and brother in law Cahan Nashamir Al-Safur in a drive-by shooting.
