The Île-de-Notreceau class is a class of 3 (2 active 1 retired) Notreceauen nuclear-powered aircraft carriers in service with the National Navy of Notreceau and constructed by Société Navale Nationale de Notreceau. The lead ship of the class is named for the Notreceauen department of Île-de-Notreceau where the national capital Réuvières is located. With a total displacement of 42,500 tons and a length of 261.5 meters the Île-de-Notreceau and its sister ships represented the heaviest and longest ships in the Notreceauen arsenal until the commissioning of the Melusine-Class Aircraft Carrier in 2018.
Ships in the class carry a compliment of Prévoyance Labbe and Prévoyance Baguette fixed wing aircraft as well as [insert] helicopters. Their self-defense measures include the short range MD.1114 missile, the medium range MD.3413 missile and the Narwhal 20mm cannon system. The class utilizes a CATOBAR system featuring two 75 meter PACLA-88-75-1 steam catapults, one at the bow and one at the waist of the ships.
