The Delta Prowlers are a professional gridiron football team based in Delta, Zian, competing in the Vintage Conference of the Zamastan Football League. Formerly called the Marsh Trekkers from 1953-2018, the Prowlers mascot and name honor the critically endangered hardwood cougar, which once thrived in pinelands, tropical hardwood hammocks and mixed freshwater swamp forests native to the area now comprising the metropolitan area of Delta. They are one of three teams in the ZFL honored after cougar species, the other two being the Alberni Predators and Emerald Pumas.
