The East Line (Hessian dialects: Ostlinie, Finno-Ugric languages: Keleti Vonal), commonly referred to as the Dinsmark - Alexandropolis Corridor, is a high-speed rail (HSR) line in East Belisaria that is part of the continent's larger interconnected HSR network. It is served by the Comet, a HSR service owned by the Continental Comet Consortium (C3), a consortium established by various railway corporations from Brumen and Drevstran. The East Line begins its service at Südbahnhof in Dinsmark the capital city of Brumen, which also serves as its terminus & depot. It terminates in the city of Alexandropolis, the capital of Mesogeia. There are two types of services: the slower Astro line which stops at all stations along the corridor, and the faster Sage line which only stops at certain stations. The Astro line is serviced by China Railway CRH6 trainsets, with a service speed of 220km/h it is the slowest of all Comet service lines. Sage lines are serviced by Fuxing (train) trainsets, with a service speed of 380km/h making it the fastest HSR service provided by the Comet. Talks of a HSR network between the two neighboring countries began since 1991 when both governments signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) which laid the groundwork for a fully integrated HSR network between Brumen and Drevstran. The Dinsmark - Angrast Corridor, now considered as Phase 1 of the project, commenced operation in 11 May 1994. Since then it has expanded its coverage to include Beredino in 2005 and Alexandropolis in 2006.

Services
Comet offers two train service types: Sage & Astro trains.
* Sage: this is the Comet's fastest train service available as it only stops at major/large stations throughout the route. It generally stops at capital cities and major transit stations at all countries it passes through. Its fares however are more expensive compared to Astro services. Sage services utilize the Fuxing (train) trains to provide fast travel times, maintaining a service speed of 380km/h throughout most parts of its journey. It is intended primarily for tourists who opt for a quick and efficient trans-Belisarian HSR service, and people in business trips who require fast and cheaper access (compared to air travel) to reach another country's capital/major financial centers.
* Astro: the Comet's limited express service, stopping at all train stations along the Dinsmark - Alexandropolis Corridor. Its fare are much cheaper compared to Sage services, almost half its price. China Railway CRH6 are utilized for all Astro services, an improved version of the REX-5 trains used by the RGB. The primary users of Astro services are daily commuters who have a need to commute cross-borders. As a result, Astro is in essence a hybrid service: combining the roles of a commuter line with that of a HSR line. With a service speed of 220km/h, Astro provides daily rail commuters an alternate option as it stops at all stations within a country, providing an alternate rail option.

Rolling Stock
The East Line is currently operates two types of rolling stock trainsets:
* Fuxing (train), comprised of 16 car sets, three cabin class configuration (Executive, Business & Economy), Sage service.
* China Railway CRH6, comprised of 16 car sets, two cabin class configuration (Business & Economy), Astro service.
Cabin Classes
The Comet offers three types of cabin classes: Executive, Business & Economy classes. While there are significant difference between each cabin class, all offer the following universal features and services: a built in Audio Video on Demand (AVOD) system, LCD screens (of various sizes) for each seat and built in power sockets to charge various types of electronic devices. Sage trains offer complimentary onboard meals for all classes, however Astro trains do not. Instead, for passengers onboard Astro services, train attendants will regularly offer meal purchases to passengers across all classes.
* Executive Class: the highest tier of cabin class and only available in Express services. Seats are arranged in a 1+1 configuration, all of which are full leather, 35 inch (89cm) wide seats enclosed within a fixed shell cabin, and can be reclined into a full flat bed. All seats are provided with a 24 inch (60 cm) AVOD system, providing passengers access to a wide range of music, movie & television programs. Games are also available in the AVOD system, accommodating both single player mode and multiplayer mode with other passengers onboard the train. Onboard Sage services, Executive Class passengers have access to a wider range of meal options and are able to pre-select/book their desired meals via the Comet's booking system.
* Business Class: second highest cabin class tier, available for both Express and All-Stop services of the Comet. Like the Executive Class, all seats are reserved in nature. Seats are configured in a 2+1 arrangement, are slightly smaller compared to those found in Executive Class but can still be reclined into full flat bed and offer limited privacy. AVOD is provided via 15.4 inch (39.1 cm) LCD screens on all Business Class seats with a Business Class passengers also have access to a wide range of onboard meals for the duration of the journey and may also pre-select/book their preferred meals.
* Economy Class: the lowest cabin tier available on all Comet HSR services. Seats are arranged in a 3+2 configuration and can be reclined though not into a full flat bad, unlike in Executive & Business classes. All Economy class carriages are undergoing a refit process. Passengers onboard new Economy class carriages enjoy a refurbished interior, enjoy a slightly more spacious leg room and have access to an 11 inch (28cm) widescreen AVOD system. Older Economy class carriages are equipped with 6.1 inch VGA screens.

 • Executive Class: the highest tier of cabin class and only available in Express services.
 • Business Class: second highest cabin class tier, available for both Express and All-Stop services of the Comet.
 • Economy Class: the lowest cabin tier available on all Comet HSR services.
