Aswickan Guarantee

The Aswickan Guarantee is the current alliance between the Constitutional Monarchy of Aquitayne and the Kingdom of Aswick.

The alliance has played a significant role in the relations between Aquitayne, Aswick, and the Blackhelm Confederacy from its beginning in 1961. The alliance has existed continuously since then, guaranteeing the independence of Aswick from all foreign and domestic entities.

The alliance dates from the treaty signed by king Alexander I of Aswick and King Sugard II of Aquitayne, with the former believing that an imminent danger was posed by the Blackhelm Confederacy. The treaty stipulates that if Aswick was attacked by any nation, government, persons or militias, Aquitayne would act militarily to secure the independence of Aswick.

The Treaty

WHEREAS the Kingdom of Aswick was formerly a Colonial Province of the Constitutional Monarchy of Aquitayne, and

WHEREAS the Kingdom of Aswick willfully and valiantly fought for their right to popular sovereignty, and

WHEREAS the continued sovereignty of the independent Kingdom of Aswick is under threat, we

HEREBY resolve to uphold the national sovereignty of the Kingdom of Aswick, through military, political and social intervention, from all foreign and domestic people, militias, governments and entities who seek to,

• Install a new head of state
• Install a new form of government or representative body
• Annex the recognized territories of the Kingdom of Aswick
• Engage in treason to the Crown
• Invade the sovereign territories of the Kingdom of Aswick with any military, paramilitary, or covert forces, and

HEREBY devotes to provide yearly financial support for the progress of Aswickan military independence through negotiated sums dictated by the Magnus Magnatus, and

RECOGNIZES the unwavering bond between one people separated by fate.
