The Huvakian Central News Agency (HCNA) is the second largest media conglomerate in Huvakia after Butler Media Group. Established by the Imperial government with the widespread adoption of television, HCNA was intended to be a means of rapidly communicating with the general population of Huvakia. Government owned and controlled only approved content and news would be available to the imperial people. HCNA would have unopposed control of Huvakian airwaves for nearly two decades until the founding of BMG. Despite the thinly veild propoganda that frequents HCNA programming, it remains the go to source for Huvakian imperial and international news. Averaging roughly 47% of news viewers HCNA primarily competes with BMG for majority viewership.

Keeping in line with it's original purpose of mass emergency communication HCNA retains the sole right and ability to supress all other channels in the country during times of emergency. This service is also enacted when the Emperor makes a public decree.
