Enrique Santos de la Cruz y Domínguez (born 30 April 1949) is a politician serving as the current president of Auratia. Previously, he served briefly as the country's premier from 2004 to 2005.
Domínguez was born to an Oratiano-speaking farming family in Leão, Iustia Nova. He attended the University of Puerto del Rey and studied art history. After university, Domínguez worked as an art historian for the National Auratian Museum in Puerto del Rey. In 1986, Domínguez won a seat in the Assembly of the People, the lower house of the Auratina Senate, representing the Liberal Party.
A well-liked member of the Liberal Party, Domínguez was selected to be the party's chief whip by Premier Matias Hernandes in 1997. He continued to serve under Marcelo Casares. However, when Casares died of a stroke in August 2004, Domínguez was selected to head the Liberal Party and become premier as a compromise candidate. Domínguez was premier for less than ten months, losing the 2005 Auratian Assembly elections to the Sotirian Federation led by Antonio José Menéndez. He is the shortest serving Auratian premier since the Great War.
