The ACM-6 Vassago is a tactical surface-to-surface missile system of the Commonwealth Army. It was developed in the late-80s to provide divisional and corps artillery groups, equipped with the Gorgon MLRS rocket artillery vehicle, with a long range deep strike capability against high value targets. Although officially classified as a TBM, it is more accurately described as a 'quasi-ballistic missile', as it travels at a relatively low trajectory at high speed in order to present as little warning to opposing forces as possible; it is also capable of erratic evasive maneouvres in order to confound anti-ballistic missile systems.

Variants

The ACM-6 is a versatile platform capable of carrying a wide variety of payloads. Its variants include the following:

• ACM-6A(1): Contains 950 dual-purpose submunitions. Range: 130km.
• ACM-6A(2): Contains 275 dual-purpose submunitions. Range: 165km.
• ACM-6B: Carries 13x Bombardier Anti-Tank guided submunitions. Range: 140km.
• ACM-6C: Carries a 230kg unitary warhead. Range: 300km.
• ACM-6D: A rumoured variant which carries a binary warhead for Sarin or VXnerve agents. Range: 300km. The existence of this variant is denied by Arthuristan authorities.
• ACM-6E: Carries a 0.5-50kt Red Hammer tactical nuclear warhead. Range: 300km.
