Heudeberg was a Ochsenbein labor camp. It was operated between February 1935 and June 1966 on the Heudeberg near Neu-Keipzig as a prison for forced labor. In addition to this labor camp, there was the Bolingen labor camp in West Sedakania and the Ullsheim labor camp in South Zollingia. Heudeberg was the largest of them.
The labor camp was liberated by Besmenian Royal Army troops on June 5, 1966 during the West Besmenian Revolution. The former labor camp has served as a memorial site since 1968. It contains many exhibitions on the history of the labor camp.
