Luerkraft Naval Shipyard is a Radictistani naval base located at the city of Luerkraft in the County of Norcustsur adjacent to the Port of Luerkraft. It is the headquarters of the Royal Radictistan Navy's Northern Fleet and one of its principle operating bases. As a naval shipyard, the facility is capable of effecting major repairs on naval vessels. Luerkraft Naval Shipyard is the home port of numerous naval units including two Carrier Battle Groups and a number of the RRN's submarines.

History

The main entrance to the base was the target of a sniper in July 2014. A sentry was killed by a shot which penetrated the ballistic glass of a guard booth. A second shot struck the driver of an automobile as he waited in his vehicle for clearance to enter the facility. While there was no credible claim of responsibility by any party, the Military Criminal Investigative Service announced that it believed the attack to have been carried out by the Communist Party of Radictistan as part of its ongoing terrorist campaign.
