Damjan Tsitskov is a Syaran former pilot and flying ace of the Zemplen War.
An ethnic Makedonian, Tsitskov joined the Commonality Air Force in 1996 and was trained on the Periphas, which he flew for most of his career. Following the outbreak of the Zemplen War Tsitskov was promoted to Lt. Colonel and given command of his own squadron of Ceyx fighters. His force played a supporting role in Operation Aspis during which he shot down a AFASF-10 Donnola Air Superiority Fighter. During the Ruvelkan Winter Counter-Offensive Tsitskov's squadron saw intense action across the front, and he recorded two more kills, one Donnola and one AFASF-12 Drago Air Superiority Fighter. Rotating between the southern and central sectors of the front, Tsitskov took part in Operation Sagaris, where he shot down an AFSF-9 Martora. During Operation Polyandreion Tsitskov was shot down by a Drago, but managed to parachute into Syara lines and was back flying just two weeks later, when he recorded his fifth kill, an AFSF-8 Folivori, and officially became an ace.
In October 2009 while supporting Syaran ground forces Tsitskov engaged and shot down another Drago, and a month later shot down another Donnola, bringing his total to seven. While returning from a patrol in January 2010 Tsitskov's Ceyx suffered a hydraulics failure, resulting in a emergency crash landing. Tsitskov recovered from his injuries in a month and returned to flying combat air patrols throughouth southern Ruvelka, downing a Martora in early April. He was later promoted to Colonel and given command of the 39th Fighter Wing in May. During Operation Homefront Tsitskov recorded his ninth and final kill on another Drago, just a few weeks before the war ended.
Tsitskov continued to serve after the war until he retired in 2012.
