The People's Revolutionary Army Air Force (Liothidian: Volksrevolutionäre Armee Luftwaffe; VrAL) is the aerospace branch of the People's Revolutionary Army. The PRAAF was officially formed in 1919 in wake of the consecration of the People's Revolutionary Army as the formal military forces of Liothidia, though between June 1918 and August 1919, it was known as the People's Revolutionary Air Corps, which began as a pro-socialist defection of the Imperial Air Corps during the August Revolution.
The PRAAF from 1943 until 1961 had sole control over the Luftstürmkorps, until it was detached to form an independent branch of the PRA, equal to the PRAAF. With 95,000 active personnel and 1,120 aircraft, it is one of the largest air forces in the world.
