Chasseur Alpins serving in the 11th Mountain Infantry Division are primarily issued the ''Toundra mixte'' service and duty pattern uniform, designed primarily for combat in the Vi Castis mountain range. When deployed outside of this environment however, allocations do exist for other patterns of standard service and duty uniforms. The standard dress uniform for all Chasseur Alpins is a white dress uniform and long white {{wpl|burnous}}, capped by a large beret known colloquially as gâteau or the cake in english.
 
The Colors of the 11th are officially sky blue, azure and white. All three colors feature prominently in the unit insignia of the 11th.
