The Hamtun Hammers are a top-flight baseball team from Hamtun, Brytene. They play in the Brytisc National League and regularly represent Brytene at the Atlas Baseball Major League.
The current coach is Eddie 'Fast-Hands' Kutschkev, a former Stasnovan pro-baseballer, and the manager is Martinique Langobard.
Brytene most recently appeared in the All-Stars All-Stars 2015 tournament, where they attained third place, losing out to the Port Prosperity Panthers from the Allied Connurist States.
History and standing
The Hamtun Hammers began as a casual group of miners from the mines west of Hamtun, who would play baseball at the weekends. When the first All-Stars season was announced in 1949, they decided to form a baseball team and, to the surprise of all, beat the competition to win the Brytisc National League, which was itself still relatively young and composed mostly of university teams.
Though they lost the first All-Stars tournament, they rallied and have won a total of 8 All-Stars titles, including a streak of three successive wins in the early 70s and the 2013 championship.
They are regarded as the best team in Brytene, and one of the best teams in Atlas.
