It was established in the 40s, it has its roots in multiple self-defense organizations and cliques local to the Este Pais, especially from the Kiridan mountains. Despite being older than most of its concurrents, the NE Cartel has been late to modernize but managed to take control of all traffics and smuggling at the Nameria-Karazawi border.
The NE Cartel is currently at war with the Families Pact and is the leader of its own alliance : the Mountains Nations. Other members of this alliance are generally ennemies of the Rivarra Family or traitors to the “Pact”, such as the Hiussapi United Nations or the Kiridan Federation. The Mountains Nations operate in Este Pais, and contest the Hiussapi and parts of Chichimecta to the Rivarra Family.

Similarily, the cartel operate a vast network of arms trafficking, generally of small arms, explosives, and ammunitions.
