The Battle of Malmo was one of the major battles during the Great War. The battle began following a successful advancement for the Iron Pact through the southern trench and towards the largest city in Blechingia at the time, Malmo. On the 31st December 1907, Iron Pact soldiers flooded into the city and were met with little resistance, an Alliance force of 33,000 mostly ground troops against the Iron Pact's 134,000 including tanks, bomber planes and artillery. The Battle was one of the shortest yet decisive battles in the war, lasting only until the 3rd of January 1908, 4 days.
History
Upon breaching of the southern trenches by the Iron Pact, they stormed the largest city in Blechingia, Malmo. They arrived to little set-back, with a small militia that tried holding off the attackers before surrendering only 4 days in after being severely outnumbered by the men. In this brutal battle, an estimated 24,000 men were killed on the Alliance side, including civilians, in only this short time.
