'''Themed Revolution''' (sometimes called the '''thematic revolution''') is a term that is used to describe various related movements that took place in several nations throughout history where a nationwide uprising helped achieve a change of power. What links these themed revolutions and makes them different from other revolutions is that a “theme” or a symbol was used to resemble the revolution like a particular chosen color for example. In these revolutions resistance by citizens helped achieve regime change through widespread demonstrations, strikes, activism and other related methods. Some themed revolutions were nonviolent while others involved violence.

Themed Revolution (sometimes called the thematic revolution) is a term that is used to describe various related movements that took place in several nations throughout history where a nationwide uprising helped achieve a change of power.

The term was originally coined by Vesvai’s First Minister (at the time) Jonathan Mollisal when referring specifically to the revolutions in New Vesvai and Daredland. Mollisal described the themed revolutions in New Vesvai and Daredland in a negative light. He claimed that those revolutions were influenced from the outside and specifically blamed Sunrisia as the instigator because they ended up installing pro-Sunrisian governments in his view. The Coral Revolution in Edereon ended up an exception with opposite results, since after it, Edereon began moving away from the sphere of influence of Sunrisia. However, the anti-Sunrisian or Sunrisia-skeptic government of Edereon soon began building a dictatorship in Edereon, which soon led to a popular uprising against it culminating in the May Revolution. Sunrisia supported the May Revolution, which helped restore previous allied relations with Edereon. Jonathan Mollisal, who was now the Prime Minister of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora, once again accused Sunrisia as the instigator of the May Revolution, referring to it as a coup that Sunrisia used to overthrow an anti-Sunrisian government and replace it with a pro-Sunrisian government.

Flaming Revolution  Daredland 8 September 2018 14 September 2018 The Flaming Revolution in Daredland broke out when a pro-Englean and pan-Germanist opposition political party Legion of Germanic Daredland (LGD) used constitutional loopholes to achieve power in the Daredi government. LGD party member Friedrich Schäfer was already President of the State Council of the Daredi Confederacy despite being an opposition MP. That was also achieved using constitutional loopholes. In a conspiracy with other opposition parties like the Party for Central Approach (PCA) and the Social Liberal Party (SLP) the State Council voted then-Chancellor of the Daredi Confederacy Calvin Aigner and then-Vice Chancellor of the Daredi Confederacy Felix Gudatan out of office using a motion of no-confidence. Friedrich Schäfer automatically rose to the rank of Chancellor from the President of the State Council. He declared that the reshuffled government would aim to bring Daredland closer to the Englean Kaiserreich which it has common historical and cultural Germanic ties with while severing Daredi ties to organizations like MDAA and SOWEFTA.

Protestors took to the streets nationwide all over Daredland. As a symbol of the uprising they used torches which is one of the main national symbols of Daredland on the national flag and the Coat of Arms meant to symbolize liberty. That is where the Daredi uprising got the name the Flaming Revolution (which is sometimes also called the Torch Revolution). The pro-Englean and pan-Germanist Daredi government was peacefully deposed and most went into exile including Friedrich Schäfer. New national elections and a constitutional referendum were announced. A new constitution was approved and the Daredi Confederacy was reformatted into the present day Daredi Confederation. The new revolutionary government declared membership in MDAA and SOWEFTA as foreign policy priorities for Daredland. The revolutionary government was also perceived to have an anti-Englean sentiment largely related to its choice of trajectory away from closer relations with the Englean Kaiserreich. This increased tensions between both nations to the level of hostility and even lowering diplomatic recognition of each other as subjects of international law.

Silver Revolution  New Vesvai 19 July 2019 10 August 2019 The Silver Revolution in New Vesvai occurred after a whistleblower Kaleo Aitebi from New Vesvai’s Intelligence Directorate leaked secret government plans to allow torture of prisoners, falsify the results of the next general election to guarantee incumbent government’s reelection and to provoke a war against the Dominion of Vesvai by staging a false flag invasion and having a reason to counter-attack. The peaceful revolution led to the overthrow of the Alliance for Independent Tomorrow (AIT) coalition and their exile from New Vesvai. A new general election was held where the National Renewal (NR) party founded and led by protest leader and political outsider Adi Letago became one of the governing parties in a new coalition. Adi Letago himself was elected Prime Minister.
Second Daredi Revolution  Daredland 2 November 2020 8 May 2021 Several separate waves of protests have been held in Daredland continuously over suspicions that the government led by the Klare Sicht alliance was using criminal framing tactics to repress political rivals and opposition in Daredland. The most recent wave of the protests was taken over by the emerging Flug political movement, which has been calling on the government to resign. After the escalation of protests into violent clashes between police and protesters in the capital city Freihat, a State of Emergency was declared in Freihat. During the clashes, ex-Vice Chancellor of the Daredi Confederacy and ex-Confederal Minister of Justice and Police of the Daredi Confederation Felix Gudatan was broken out of detainment. After hundreds of injuries on both sides, the Konföderaleswehr was called in to intervene in Freihat but declared a military mutiny. A new round of government and opposition talks was held after which the Daredi government agreed to resign in its' entirety while all positions were handed over to members of the Flug movement, creating an interim government until snap elections.
