Federal elections were held in the Amrelian Federative Republic on December 18, 2020 to elect all members of the Federal Assembly. Both houses convened as the United Federal Assembly on December 21, 2020 to elect the next Federal Directory of Amrelia, the federal executive.
The far-right National Front made substantial gains, winning the state of East Elizabeth and receiving the largest number of Deputies in the history of the party. The Liberals lost one seat in the Senate but gained 20 in the Chamber of Deputies. Edward Bennett and the Greens performed well, taking 5 seats in the Senate and 20 in the Chamber. Most notably, the Amrelian People’s Party continued to lose seats in both houses, as well as the Republicans and Federalists, though the Federalists still remained the largest party.
Amrelia's executive is comprised of a four member council elected by the United Federal Assembly which acts as a collective body. The coalition parties often make up the Directory. As such, a coalition was formed between the Federalists, Republicans, and Liberals shortly after the election, with the Directory currently made up of two Federalists, one Republican and one Liberal.

Map of Amrelian states colored by the party that won the most votes. Seats won in the states for the Chamber of Deputies are shown by circles, seats won for the Senate are shown by squares.
