Petrina Mani Ursa Valier Caliara (born 18 December 2001) is a Gylian-born Cacertian singer and songwriter who gained a popular following in 2016 when she released her debut single “Ocean Eyes” online via Proton. She caught the attention of record labels Atlantis and Rethink, and subsequently re-released "Ocean Eyes" to positive reviews. Petrina released her debut EP, Don’t Smile at Me on 11 August 2017 which reached the top 15 in Cacerta and spawned the popular single “Bellyache”.
In March 2019, Petrina released her debut studio album c to critical acclaim. It quickly reached number one in the Kingdom with its singles “When the Party’s Over”, “Bury a Friend”, and “Bad Guy” all reaching the top 15. Petrina currently possesses seven gold and two platinum singles, the youngest artist in Cacertian history to ever do so.
Early Life
Petrina was born in Senik, Alţira. Her parents work in the music industry and are anarchists, involved with People Power-Citizens' Movement. She attended an anarchist free school in Senik and was a member of the Revolutionary Youth Union, where she sang in a vocal ensemble.
