The ''Lüderitz'' class is a set of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers currently in service in the [[Kaiserliche-Marine]]. These three carriers make up the primary force-projection capabilities of the Kaiserliche-Marine, succeeding the [[Kaiserreich Class Carrier|Kaiserreich class]] that was retired in 2003. These vessels were planned as carriers that would cost less than the ''Kaiserreich'' class, and were planned over the years of 1968-1978 until the first carrier was ordered in early 1980. The Lüderitz class is a set of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers currently in service in the Kaiserliche-Marine. These three carriers make up the primary force-projection capabilities of the Kaiserliche-Marine, succeeding the Kaiserreich class that was retired in 2003. These vessels were planned as carriers that would cost less than the Kaiserreich class, and were planned over the years of 1968-1978 until the first carrier was ordered in early 1980. In the 21st Century, these ships serve as the pillar of carrier design in Corentia and are expected to be in service until the completion of the SMS Fürst Faulstich in 2025-2030.
