Weapons are items that characters can equip, giving them a higher damage output than they would've without it. Weapons are divided by type, and only characters proficient in the use of a weapon's type can use it. For example, only a character with knife proficiency can use knives. This is a balancing measure to prevent a single character from hoarding the best weapons the party finds, regardless of the intended playstyle for said character. Below is a list of weapons by their type.

The use of cigarettes as weapons is unique to Lin Jiayi, being closely tied to her powers. She can switch between two modes for them, Melee Mode, where the cigarettes deal fire damage and acts similarly to whips, where the burning part of the cigarettes are extended into a flaming appendage, and Throwing Mode, where they deal explosive damage on contact with the target and are essentially miniature hand grenades. Knives
Knives have small alpha damage, but are so light they can be dual wielded and have fast attack speed. They can also be concealed, and some knives have a high critical, making them ideal for assassin-like characters
Line-blades
Line-blades are essentially modified ballistic knives where the blade can be launched like one, but with a line connecting the blade and the hilt, akin to a harpoon. They are unique weapons only available in the Instinct and Ingenuity campaign and it's sequel. They are special weapons with two distinct modes; a Blade mode, where it acts as a knife, and a Line mode, where it has the characteristics of a whip and knife. Like knives, they deal blade damage.
Line-blades are also unique in that they have use outside of combat; they can he used as makeshift grappling hooks, or restraints, among others.
Karma is the only character proficient in Line-blades.
Abnormal weapons
