The Second Valkyrur-Seleucid War, also known as the Anicetus's War Against the Valkyrur and the War for the Liberation of Macedonna, was a conflict fought between the Seleucid Empire and the Valkyrur realm of Ahushomr'Thalas with the assistance of the Antigonid Empire. Situated in Macedonna and parts of southeastern Europa, the Seleucid forces under King Seleucus IX Anicetus launched a "liberation campaign" in Macedonna, to which the Valkyrur under Kath'Ranis Remar responded by sending their armies to confront them, leaving them to fight for supremacy for about five years.
The war ended in a decisive victory for the Seleucids. Gaining the entirety of Macedonna from the Valkyrur and mainland Grecia and Crete from the Antigonids, the Seleucid Empire regained its status as the major power in the East. What contributed most to this victory was the Staff of Seleucus, a weapon derived from the workings of the Valkyrur lance.
