The City of Frankenlisch is the capital and largest city of the United Kingdom of Vionna-Frankenlisch and the largest single settlement in Magna Europa. Straddling the Bay of Frankenlisch in the north of the Kingdom of Frankenlisch, Frankenlisch has been a major settlement for over two thousand years. The city was founded by the ancient hero Romulus and was named Romula in his glory. It was later renamed Frankenlisch after the formation of the kingdom of the same name by Francis the Great. The city is governed by the Lord Mayor of Frankenlisch and the elected Frankenlisch City Assembly.
Frankenlisch is considered by many to be one of the most important cities settlements in Magna Terra and has been termed the region's most powerful, most desirable and most influential city. Frankenlisch commands considerable influence amongst the arts, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media, professional services, research and development, tourism and transportation of Magna Europa. It is one of the largest financial centres and has the largest metropolitan area GDP. It is the most-visited city as measured by international arrivals and has the busiest city airport system as measured by passenger traffic. It is the leading investment destination, hosting more international retailer and ultra-high-net-worth individuals than any other city. Frankenlisch's universities and colleges form the largest and most prestigious concentration of educational facilities in Magna Europa.
