Early Life
A popular story from the Imperial Couple was their drawn-out debate on the young Prince's name. Caroline Sonnen, Johannes' mother, desired a name similar to her father's (Christoph) while the late Emperor Jurgen wished to retain Imperial traditional norms with naming their child. In the end the two settled with Caroline having the second given name, Jurgen the first given name, and the last name retained to the House's name; thus Johannes would retain all Royal/Imperial traditional naming structures and Caroline would have her father's name passed down as Christopher.
