The ASM-52 Stingray is an Illuverendian anti-ship missile developed by the rocketry and aviation companies Ebenezer-Ozvalds and Atherton Flugswerke GmbH (now Atherton Aeronautics), and manufactured by both Ebenezer-Ozvalds and Valhallerens Heavy Industries. It is a modular missile, being able to be mounted on both aircraft and surface-based units. Its modularity also allows it to be fired from vertical or surface-based launchers.
Three variants of the Stingray missile exist:
- Mk I: Base variant, as developed by Ebenezer-Ozvalds and Atherton Aeronautics.
- Mk II: 612 mm variant, shorter in length, developed by Ebenezer-Ozvalds and Atherton Aeronautics.
- Mk III: Anti-radiation missile variant derived from the Mk II, developed by Valhallerens Heavy Industries.
All three variants are interchangable for use, and can be launched from aircraft or surface-based launchers.
