Mirella Albrici (born March 9th, 1971) is a member of the Chamber of Representatives who served as Chair of the Malgravean Technology Party between 2000 and 2006.

Early life and career

Mirella Albrici was born in Epping on the 9th of March, 1971. In her early childhood, Mirella was a proactive member of her local Ancestral Study Group and Gabriel Narutowicz Pioneers, as both organisations worked to integrate the new population centres that had re-joined Malgrave following the conclusion of the civil war.

When Mirella advanced to the Free Democratic Youth (Malgrave) these activities continued, and she joined multiple excursions to newly formed FDY groups and ASG centres in Rensk, Aria and other locations that had previously been part of the National Workers' Republic or the Socialist Republic. It was these experiences that contributed Mirela to start her university studies at Rensk University of Technology.

While studying computer science at Rensk University of Technology, Mirella opted to serve her mandatory military service by volunteering for the Malgravean Air Force as opposed to serving in the Territorial Defence Force (Malgrave). In her service years, Mirella worked as part of a maintenance crew helping service aircraft deployed against smugglers operating in the border region.

After leaving university, Mirella attempted to enter the workforce, however, the economic crisis of the Lost Decade was hitting its peak and Mirella was only able to find temporary work with MalTec and MalTra being employed in various roles over the years. In the midst of her growing frustrations Mirella settled upon joining the Technology Party

In 2000 Mirella was selected as a candidate for the 2000 Malgravean General Election to replace a longstanding member that was no longer seeking re-election. Mirella was expected to lose her seat, as the Technology Party were predicted to suffer heavy losses due to the population blaming them for the continuation of the economic crisis. In an upset Mirella was able to scrape off a close victory, with her success story being used as a limited case of optimism for the party.

In the aftermath of the 2000 Malgravean General Election, the Technology Party was thrown into a period of heavy internal disruption. It was unknown who would step up and lead the party, and numerous fierce arguments were waged over this. Mirella inserted herself into the debate as a wildcard candidate, and to the surprise of many was able to emerge victorious in the resulting leadership contest.

It has been argued that the sheer disunity within the Technology Party made this a possibility, although, others have remarked that her presence as the only candidate with some optimism around them also worked in their favour. Mirella sought to unify the party under a singular vision, and she put forward a proposal outlining a strategy to draw in additional voters from traditional academic circles, however, these radical proposals were rejected and she was unable to unify the majority of the party around a single vision.

Mirella resigned shortly after the 2005 Malgravean General Election and was replaced by Kim Ji-yeon
