The Yunean Federation (Yunean: Lub Koom Haum Av Kwg), shortly known as Yunea (Yunean: Av Kwg), is a landlocked sovereign state in southern Coius.

Etymology

The name "Yunea" is an exonym, originating from the Shangean name for the region of Yunea, "Zài yún zhōng" (在云中), which means "In the cloud", referring to the region's high elevations. The Shangean word Yún (云), meaning cloud, later became what is now known in the Eastern world as "Yunea". The country's native name is Av Kwg, is thought to come from the words "av" meaning soil, and "kwj", meaning streams, literally meaning "Soil and Streams".

Government

According to the 2002 constitution of Yunea, the country is a unitary parliamentary republic, which created a form of guided democracy similar to that of Shangea as the country was at the time ruled by the pro-Shangea and pro-ROSPO Cooperation Society, but since the 2015 Yunean coup the government has been ruled by the anti-Shangean military junta known as the National Development Council the government has enstated a 10-year state of emergency to reform the government and create a new constitution. So far the government has been ruled by Nao Vang Lor as Chairman of the Federal Development Council and Jong Yeng Lee as the Premier of the country.
