Marcellus Antonius Bracchus was a patrician, governor, and military commander in the Empire of Exponent, known for his leadership during the Austral War. Bracchus was the final governor of Valle Crucis, and retired to a career in the Imperial court in Paradise City after the loss of the island to Cassonnais and Cadenzan forces.

His grandfather, Claudius Octavius Bracchus, was a commander of infantry in the Aquitaynian War of Independence, and his father, Antonius Claudius Bracchus, was an influential member of the Exponential-Polarussian upper class.

Marcellus was selected by the Emperor Maximinius V to serve as governor of Valle Crucis in 1798.
