Hello, I'm Castille. I began on NationStates in March 2012, and have been primarly a roleplayer in the International Incidents community. I'm known across NS and its communities as Castille or Castille de Italia (my main nation's name), but in other communities as Draper (my bros in Regnum, who I didn't even meet through NS, will know me as Draper). I am in the IIWiki Discord and can be reached there or via DMs.
My main nation page on IIwiki is Castillia. Everything on there is considered canon, but is heavily a work in progress. Some of the factbooks onsite are still considered canon, such as the colorful cast of Castillia, but will be imported to IIwiki over time.
I only have one RP going right now, which is closed and read only. I consider it my finest work by far. Titled Deep Throat and modeled off of the Watergate scandal of the 1970s, it is a political thriller that depicts the nuances of Castillian society, culture, and conflict amid a high-stakes constitutional crisis and serves as a commentary on the state of the current political spheres IRL. It is an experiment for me to worldbuild, restructure the political system through a process not normally RPed on the II Board, and allows me to pay homage to 1960s culture, the French and American political systems, and some of my favorite films; Dirty Harry and Risky Business chiefly, and then some of my favorite music; I invoke the Pet Shop Boys, Tangerine Dream, and Gigi D'Agostino (along with a minor Sammy Kershaw reference since it fit the moment).
I have been a longtime member of the region Greater Dienstad, and have dabbled in others, such as the defunct Pardes and Haven. I'm a working white-collar professional IRL and enjoy traveling often internationally, so I don't have a ton of time to devote to NS or IIwiki these days, but nonetheless it's a hobby I'll always have that has transcended girlfriends who thought it was nerdy, my friends whom I've never ever told, or weekends I could have been golfing with the boys or out on the lake.
