| Historically, Hyacinthe has been the site of numerous civilizations ever since humans first migrated to the area in ancient times. Most notably, the [[Hernicians]] emerged in the 8th century BC, first as a [[Hernician Kingdom|kingdom]], before becoming a [[Hernician Republic|republic]], and lastly, an [[Hernician Empire|empire]]. The Hernician Empire would go on to dominate much of Calesia for centuries, before eventually [[Fall of the Hernician Empire|falling]] to {{wp|Germanic peoples|Waldic tribes}} in the 5th century AD.
