Ellvic Hinstone (born 2937 AHT) is a human politician and author from the planet Kicceon who was the Premier of the Galactic Union from 2970-90 AHT. Born to a wealthy aristocratic family on Kicceon, Hinstone was elected to represent his homeworld in the Galactic Assembly in 2959 at the age of 20. For his 11 years as a delegate, Hinstone advocated for diplomatic expansion into the Outer Band region, removal of taxation regulations for corporations represented in the Assembly, and preservation of natural environments on underdeveloped worlds. He was the first human to become Premier of the Galactic Union, occurring 2170 years after the Human Expansion's merger with the Union. He served four full terms in office, regarded during as a popular and effective leader, but with some of his economic actions since being criticized for expanding the influence of bureaucrats in the galactic government.
