Kroven was a federal state located in Besmenia from 1967 to 1976. The state was formed in 1967 after the Besmenian reunification and emerged largely from the West Besmenian district of Fröndenbruck. In 1976, Kroven and Dornweil merged to form the federal state of Maurenmark.
