Vydau is the second largest city in the Province of Maszale, behind Lavala, with 509,334 within city limits and 3 million in the Greater Vydau area.

Air transport is provided by Vydau International Airport. One of the busiest airports in Kathia, it serves as a secondary hub for Air Kathia and as a primary hub for its subsidiary, Kathic Allonian Airlines.
