The Insurgency in East Magyaria was a military conflict that was part of the Aurucolian Wars. Separatist governors from the East Magyaria region of Aurucolia declared their autonomy from the government in order to combat their economic situations, but within this reality was their intention of secession. When this information by the HLIC was leaked to the Aurucolian government, incumbent Emperor Albert Zoltán II ordered troops to be sent there to maintain law and order and keep East Magyaria in Aurucolian hands. However, when the Autonomous Magyari Regions united as the Republic of East Magyari under the advice of the Russites and the East Europans, Aurucolia soon declared war against the Chalcedony Empire.
This war is often considered to be the catalyst for the Eurasianna War.
