The Rajkovian War of Independence was the first military conflict in the Aurucolian Wars. Originating from the dire economic situation and increasingly decadent conditions as a result of corruption, the 2022 Aurucolian economic crisis and wartime damages by the Ruzhite Empire, Pribislav Trkulja, Prince of Rajkovia, Prince-Elector and Holy Imperial Marshal of the Zebrian Army, revolted against the Aurucolian government and pushed for Rajkovia's secession and permanent independence from the federative monarchy. Soon after, numerous Zebrian general officers and half of Rajkovia's governors sided with Trkulja, and it eventually exploded into a full-scale civil war on 19 August 2024.

Eventually, a ceasefire was declared on 30 April 2029 throughout all of Aurucolia, leading to a country-wide referendum on the question of the breakup of Aurucolia. With unanimous votes from Rajkovia, the nation, along with other constituent nations, were all bestowed independence from the Emperor.
