The Siege of Theresienburg was a siege laid to the Congressional held city of Theresienburg during the War of the Englean Diet From September 29 to Christmas Day, 1756, and is seen by most scholars as the final battle of the war, as the siege had essentially choked out the last remaining resources resulting in the Congressional Empire surrendering 4 days after the end of the siege.

main article: War of the Englean Diet After being essentially split in half by the joint Englean and Talvistovan Forces early the previous year, the Congressional forces in the west had been on a fighting retreat against the advancing Grand Northern Army, and after suffering costly defeats at the battles of Waalter and Kreuzfelden, had decided they'd make their final stand in the city of Theresienburg and hope for a breakthrough in the east.
