Jurenia (Jurenian: Jūrėnai), officially known as the Jurenian Kingdom (Jurenian: Jūrėnaių Karalystė), is a sovereign state located in northeast Asura, consisting of 11 provinces, and is bordered by Casia to the south, xxx to the east and the XXX sea to the northwest. The sole official language is Jurenian. As of the most recent census, the population of Jurenia is 20 million.

The largest cities in Jurenia are Širminiai, Birštonas, Juodkrantė and Tendžiogala. Juodkrantė is the de jure capital city, while the National Assembly, the High Court and nearly all embassies are located in the Širminiai under process of relocation. Tendžiogala has a mayor port on the XXX sea, providing Jurenia with most of its sea cargo traffic. The country is a founding member of the WECO. The Liidurian enclave of Anlaufhafen, a historically important maritime choke point, is surrounded on three sides by Jurenia.

The name 'Jurenia' finds its origins from the Proto-XXX term *jaur, referencing the country's history in seafaring and its reliance on the sea. The country is near-entirely surrounded by coast on two sides and has several mayor ports in the southern side near the Gulf of XXX. The country also has several airports, with the Širminiai Airport servicing up to thirty million people each year and being the primary airport in the country.

The country's climate varies from a hemiboreal climate in the south to a subarctic climate in northern parts of the country, resulting in the south of the country having just a third of the area and ninety percent of the population. The east of the country is covered by taiga. Despite a high population density in the south, the country is a large exporter of agricultural products owing to its high quality of soil.

Jurenia is administered as a unitary state, with a long history of parliamentary democracy and a mostly ceremonial monarchy, with the current form of administration being implemented in the late nineteenth century. The current monarch is King Girenas II, who succeeded his father Girenas I in 1998. The nation has a history of liberal social values, with the country legalising gay marriage in 1997 and implementing its hallmark drug liberalisation programme in 2003.
