In 12 A.Y. (1962) they were contacted by outsiders for the first time by two members of the 6th Birnirian Intelligence Regiment, who offered to help them off-planet to explore the universe. Chief Urrorr'okur'arhr gladly accepted, vowing to opt for a peaceful approach to the galaxy, dialing their violent ways back dramatically. They did keep many traditions however, but did away with the more violent and gruesome ones.
