The assassination of High Queen Elizabeth of Atmora, also known as the 1931 September Crisis (Dutch: Crisis van 1931 September). The assassination of the High Queen of Atmora and her sister Princess Violet, Duchess of Montfort occured on 11 September 1931 in Alexandria when they were shot by Mikhayla Yakovenka. Yakovenka was one of a group of seven assassins led by Paval Cierashkovich and a member of the Young Voshans revolutionary group. The political objective of the assassination was to wipe out the Atmoran royal family in revenge for the Vozhsk Genocide of 1912, along with the mass kidnapping of Vozhsk children during the 1911 Vozhsk War of Indepedence.
