Khönungaformlen or the kingly formula is a formula used in the holy chronologically to explain the division of the holy chronologically about the kingship of the gods. It has historically been attributed to be created by high Cleric Ragrad of Jarntran in the year 983 BC or 500 years since the rose burnt or 1457 before our kingdom depending on the calendar being used. However more recent estiments puts its creation to around 100 AD or around that era. It was created during one of the great divinermots or divine meetings when a compromise was sought after to figure out the exact nature of the divine kingship and try to mend the rift between the three sects over who was the king of the gods.
Clerics from and Jarntra, gudaföljare, and draktra sects all appeared and were holding the discussion in an attempt to find a god to crown but no official progress were made on that front. However in the end were instead a compromise agreed upon.
The original formula
"As a mere farmer is not entirely made aware of the exact order of succession and the exact duties and responsibility of the kingship of the divine so are a mere mortal not entirely aware of the exact nature of the kingship of the divine and it's holder!"
This is the forumla that were the first and original one and some few rune inscriptions on runestones have it written down, however while it originally solved the debate about the kingship of the gods by saying that mortals could not fully know the situation and as such should focus on more important issues and let the gods themselves sort the issue up did it also open up a lot of challenges to the official temple doctrine both universally held truths and within the sects themselves. The staggering amount of heretics that used it to say that their own ideas should also be allowed since it implied that one could not be entirely sure of anything amongst the divine gods resulted in the formula was changed after just a century in use.
The current formula
"As a mere farmer is not entirely made aware of the exact order of succession and the exact duties and responsibility of the kingship of the divine so are a mere mortal not entirely aware of the exact nature of the kingship of the divine and it's holder! However just as farmers have seen a king in his person and can be sure of his nature, his character, his relationship, his powers to those around us so have we too seen the divine gods and can be sure of their nature, their character, their relationships, their powers and those are well known to us"
The second formula was written and then put forward as the true formula and is still in use today and were seen as a more acceptable formula since it did not open up the chronologically to debate on issues not involving the succession on the king of the gods even if several movements arose over the ages that were originally founded on new ideas about the divine kingship that had to be tolerated by each of the sects within their own areas of power due to the formula.
