The crab with 2 feathers being a symbol in the karali islands representing Mystery, usually represented as a purple crab, due to purple also being assosiated with mystery. Lampa teí (IPA: /Lam.pa ti:/) from old Lakkathan language "Lámpas Téi" meaning "Crab/seafood heaven" lámpas originally means crab, reinforcing the usage of a crab as arepresentasion of the restourant, but over time began to mean seafood overall, in modern standart Lakkathan (aka common Lakkathan) the word Lampa means seafood, and Lápom means crab.

Popular items include Fillet-fish Sandwich, Fried Crab legs, Fried Clams, Shellfish salad, and the specialty Dyunér-dyi-Psa (Fish shawarma/döner), a very unusual but popular dish. Other items include: Lakkathan Sushi, Karali Psáti-šalo (A traditional fish salad dish), Fish bites, and various fried fish
