Vassengård, officially the State of Vassengård, is a constituent state of Delkora. It is the fourth largest state by population. Its capital is Izenhoth, and its largest city is Tordenhelm.
Etymology
The term Vassengardr first appeared in early Dane sagas circa 750 BCE as a reference to the homeland of the Vassen people, who predated Danish settlement. The current spelling was widely adopted by the late 17th century.
Geography
Vassengård is located in southern Delkora. It is bordered by Førelskov to the north, Banderhus to the west, Norvia to the east, Cybria to the northwest, and Meᵹelan to the south. With the exception of the Dromsdal Mountains in the north, the state is characterized by mostly flat, arable land. Tordenhelm, the sixth largest city in Delkora, is located in the south not far from the Meᵹelanese border. The capital, Izenhoth, is located in the west.

Government and politics
Politics in Vassengård have been characterized by agrarian and populist tendencies. The Conservative, Liberal, and Agrarian parties generally perform the strongest in elections. National Labor is strong in the major cities.
The current first minister of Vassengård is Tobias Bidstrup, a member of the Liberal Party. The state legislature is the 150 member Vassengård Parliament. The Constitutional Court of Vassengård is the highest judicial authority under state law, responsible for interpreting the state Constitution.
