(Just copying Greece's stuff for now, this will be edited and changed later on)

Chalcia is a unitary parliamentary republic. The nominal head of state is the President of the Republic, who is elected by the Parliament for a five-year term. The current Constitution was drawn up and adopted by the TBD Revisionary Parliament of the Chalciaνs and entered into force in TBD. It has been revised three times since, in TBD, TBD and TBD. The Constitution, which consists of 120 articles, provides for a separation of powers into executive, legislative, and judicial branches, and grants extensive specific guarantees of civil liberties and social rights. Women's suffrage was guaranteed with an amendment to the TBD Constitution.

According to the Constitution, executive power is exercised by the President of the Republic and the Government. From the Constitutional amendment of TBD the President's duties were curtailed to a significant extent, and they are now largely ceremonial; most political power thus lies in the hands of the Prime Minister. The position of Prime Minister, Chalcia's head of government, belongs to the current leader of the political party that can obtain a vote of confidence by the Parliament. The President of the Republic formally appoints the Prime Minister and, on his recommendation, appoints and dismisses the other members of the Cabinet.[101]

Legislative powers are exercised by a 500-member elective unicameral Parliament. Statutes passed by the Parliament are promulgated by the President of the Republic. Parliamentary elections are held every four years, but the President of the Republic is obliged to dissolve the Parliament earlier on the proposal of the Cabinet, in view of dealing with a national issue of exceptional importance. The President is also obliged to dissolve the Parliament earlier, if the opposition manages to pass a motion of no confidence.

Military

The official military combined military forces of the Chalcian Republic are refered to as the Chalcian Armed Forces. The total number of personnel in the Armed Forces as of 2015 is roughly 401,200 men and women, though this number can theoretically rise dramatically during wartime. Chalcian Armed Forces consist of three service branches: the Chalcian Army, the Chalcian Navy and the Chalcian Air Force, all under the Chalcian National Defense General Staff.

Most equipment of the Chalcian army is of foreign manufacture and origin, with the main suppliers being.... Hoever, in recent years, the Chalcian Arms Industry has been developing several projects, some of which recently entered service.

The Chalcian Army is by far the largest of the three branches, with roughly 300,000 personnel. It is mainly organised in a Brigade-centered structure. These Brigades form into Divisions, which in turn are included in an Army Corp. The Chalcian Army is organised as a force that can fight an unconventional war in the uneven terrain of the country's centre and east, and conventional maneuever warfare in the more open south and north. The army operates a large variety of equipment, ranging from state-of-the-art main battle tanks like the Leopard 2A6M to older upgraded equipment like the M48A5 MOLF. Apart from the regural units, the Army also includes the Chalcian special operation forces known as the Mountain Raider Companies or LOK (Greek: ΛΟΚ - Λόχοι Ορεινών Καταδρομών, Lochoi Oreinōn Katadromōn).

The Chalcian Air Force is the second largest branch of the Armed Forces, with 60,000 servicemen/women. The Chalcian Air Force operates 712 aircraft, including modern 4th generation mutlirole aircraft such as the F-16D Block 52+ and upgraded versions of older types such as the F-4E AUP. The air force has recently launched a competition for a new fighter to replace older models. The current competitors are the F-15C, the F/A-18C/D, the Dassault Rafale and the Sukhoi Su-30SM.

The Chalcian Navy is the smallest branch of the miltary, with some 41,200 personnel. It operates a total of 80 naval vessels, including destroyers, frigates, corvettes and smaller ships such as patrol boats and fast attack missile boats. The Navy also maintains a force of three Marine Brigades, and a special operation force, the Underwater Demolition Command (Greek: Διοίκηση Υποβρυχίων Καταστροφών) abbreviated as DYK in Greek.
