Meaning and Symbolism
According to the flag section of the Prei Meas Constitution of 1976 the White section represents the faith, balance, unity, and future of Prei Meas, the Green represents the land, jungles, wildlife, and present of Prei Meas, and the red represents the blood and sacrifice in defending Prei Meas and the past. The Crest represents the people of Prei Meas with many different meaning attributed to it such as the 5 main ethnic groups making up the nokor, a symbol of the national creation legend, and etc. The gold color of the crest represents the wealth, honor, and hope of Prei Meas.
