'''Themed Revolution''' (sometimes called the '''thematic revolution''') is a term that is used to describe various related movements that took place in several nations throughout history where a nationwide uprising helped achieve a change of power. What links these themed revolutions and makes them different from other revolutions is that a “theme” or a symbol was used to resemble the revolution like a particular chosen color for example. In these revolutions resistance by citizens helped achieve regime change through widespread demonstrations, strikes, activism and other related methods. Some themed revolutions were nonviolent while others involved violence. | '''Themed Revolution''' (sometimes called the '''thematic revolution''') is a term that is used to describe various related movements that took place in several nations throughout history where a nationwide uprising helped achieve a change of power. Themed Revolution (sometimes called the thematic revolution) is a term that is used to describe various related movements that took place in several nations throughout history where a nationwide uprising helped achieve a change of power.
The term was originally coined by Vesvai’s First Minister (at the time) Jonathan Mollisal when referring specifically to the revolutions in New Vesvai and Daredland. Mollisal described the themed revolutions in New Vesvai and Daredland in a negative light. He claimed that those revolutions were influenced from the outside and specifically blamed Sunrisia as the instigator because they ended up installing pro-Sunrisian governments in his view.

Flaming Revolution | Daredland | 8 September 2018 | 14 September 2018 | The Flaming Revolution in Daredland broke out when a pro-Englean and pan-Germanist opposition political party Legion of Germanic Daredland (LGD) used constitutional loopholes to achieve power in the Daredi government. LGD party member Friedrich Schäfer was already President of the State Council of the Daredi Confederacy despite being an opposition MP. That was also achieved using constitutional loopholes. In a conspiracy with other opposition parties like the Party for Central Approach (PCA) and the Social Liberal Party (SLP) the State Council voted then-Chancellor of the Daredi Confederacy Calvin Aigner and then-Vice Chancellor of the Daredi Confederacy Felix Gudatan out of office using a motion of no-confidence. Friedrich Schäfer automatically rose to the rank of Chancellor from the President of the State Council. He declared that the reshuffled government would aim to bring Daredland closer to the Englean Kaiserreich which it has common historical and cultural Germanic ties with while severing Daredi ties to organizations like MDAA and SOWEFTA.

Silver Revolution | New Vesvai | 19 July 2019 | 10 August 2019 | The Silver Revolution in New Vesvai occurred after a whistleblower Kaleo Aitebi from New Vesvai’s Intelligence Directorate leaked secret government plans to allow torture of prisoners, falsify the results of the next general election to guarantee incumbent government’s reelection and to provoke a war against the Dominion of Vesvai by staging a false flag invasion and having a reason to counter-attack. The peaceful revolution led to the overthrow of the Alliance for Independent Tomorrow (AIT) coalition and their exile from New Vesvai. A new general election was held where the National Renewal (NR) party founded and led by protest leader and political outsider Adi Letago became one of the governing parties in a new coalition. Adi Letago himself was elected Prime Minister. | |
