The Vedette-class is a class of nuclear-powered guided missile cruisers in service with the Cacertian Royal Navy. It is the third cruiser class vessel to be designed to be nuclear-powered and another ship resulting from Cacerta's nuclear fleet initiative. The Vedette-class was initially armed with the supersonic Fiocina but has since been upgraded to carry the hypersonic Lancia. Twenty cruisers were ordered when the HMS Vedette entered service in 1990. As of 2019, thirteen units have been completed and are on active service with the Royal Navy, two have recently been completed and commencing their initial shakedown cruises, with another two undergoing construction.
