The Englean Emperor, officially Engleanisches Kaiser, is the title of the head of state, government, and military of the Englean Kaiserreich. This position is hereditary, being passed to members of the House of Hohenzern since its inception in 875 AD. This position inherits the entire Englean nation and its protectorates, and is obligated to undertake various official, ceremonial, diplomatic and representational duties. Unlike many monarchies in Sunalaya, the Englean Kaiserreich is absolute and has no limitations on the power of the Emperor. As such, the ultimate executive power within the nation lies with the Englean Emperor. The current monarch is Siegfried I, who ascended the throne in 2016.
