The Novorossiysk Ground Forces (Novorussian: Сухопутные войска Самодержавие Новороссийск) or CVCN is the main ground force branch of the Novorossiysk Military or NOVM. The ground forces are designed to protect Novorossiysk and Novorussian people, businesses, and other interests across the world. The ground forces are primarily trained in urban combat but is capable of operating in a wide variety of combat settings. The ground forces are capable of deploying and operating across the world in offensive operations. Novorossiysk has a policy that former conscripts must remain as reservists and are organized into rapid response divisions in the event of an invasion of the city. This is called the Novorussian Skeleton Corps (NSC) Novorossiysk is known for its quick mobilization ability of it’s skeleton system.

Mission

The primary responsibilities of the ground forces are the protection or Novorossoysk’s borders, maintaining the sovereignty of the Potentate, maintaining the security of occupied territories, and defeating enemy forces in direct combat. The ground forces must be able to complete all of the tasks through conventional warfare and without the assistance of any nuclear weapons. The Ground Forces is also responsible for protecting the national interests of Novorossiysk and ensuring that the citizens of the Potentate are protected no matter where they may be in the world.

Structure

The commander-in-chief of the Novorossiysk Military is the TsEZar. The Main Command of the Ground Forces leads the ground forces and makes most of the major orders within the branch. The current Colonel General is Kazarezov Ustin.

Within the ground forces there are numerous branches of service, including motorized rifles, armor, artillery and rocket forces, logistical establishments, reconnaissance, signals, radioelectronic warfare, engineering, nuclear, biological and chemical protection. The majority of Novorussian soldiers are in the motorized rifles, the main fighting force of the ground forces. This is the best equipped and arguably most important branch of service which conducts most of the fighting. Armor are the next most important and also serve on the front lines alongside the motorized rifles. Armored units are used as the heavy firepower and are an integral part of Novorussian battle tactics.

The artillery and rocket forces provide much of the firepower for the ground forces. These units are capable of causing mass destruction from far away and are very important to the ground forces in offensive and defensive operations.

Novorossiysk's army is organized into several brigade and consists of around 20,500 men according to a 2019 government report.

Personnel

In 2019 the Novorossiysk Ground Forces had an estimated 20,500 soldiers with around 15,000 being professional and the remainder conscripts. All male citizens are conscripted once they reach the age of 18 and serve two years in the military before being given the option to leave or continue their military career. Conscripts that choose to leave remain a part of the reserve forces and are organized into rapid response divisions in the event of an invasion of the city. This is called the Novorussian Skeleton Corps (NSC).

The various brigades of the CVCN are tasked with the most urgent operations and is equipped with the most firepower capability. The skeleton corps are divided into 9 other brigades with limited armored vehicles, artillery, and other equipment. These brigades are focused on providing support to the Chernomorets brigade and fortifying and protecting portions of the city. The skeleton corps act almost as an insurgent force in the event of an invasion and are proficient in turning any building into a small stronghold. Skeleton corps personnel are also trained in using the environment to create roadblocks, destroying buildings, using cars, or even furniture to block off sections of the city from potential mobile enemies. Skeleton corps soldiers report for training once every six months and are required to keep a firearm at home.
